Attack on Tiger Shroff Meant for Salman Khan

According to investigators, the gunfire aimed at Tiger Shroff’s vehicle was actually intended for Salman Khan, sources said. The suspects are reported to have scouted Khan’s residence before abandoning the operation after noticing a strong security presence at the Galaxy Apartment. Officials added that Khan’s protection detail has been significantly reinforced, with elite commandos equipped with MP5 SD6 sub-machine guns. Police have not publicly confirmed.
Investigators are probing whether the ultimate goal was to create unrest within the film fraternity. Interrogations revealed that the gunmen were unable to approach their initial choice, after which they observed, via fan videos, that Shroff was traveling without police escort, making him a more accessible mark. Sources claim the three received an advance of Rs 50,000, with assurances of additional remuneration and employment later on.

The incident unfolded when three men riding a motorcycle opened fire on Shroff’s car in Juhu on Sunday, 18 October, as he departed a football field. The actor emerged unharmed, while his driver sustained injuries, and a passerby was also hurt; one attacker’s weapon malfunctioned at close range. A social-media message linked to alleged gangsters Anil Pandit and Harman Sandhu asserted that the assault was carried out on behalf of the Lawrence Bishnoi outfit, stating that Shroff was selected for disregarding warnings and collaborating with Salman Khan. Police initially could not verify the authenticity of the post, which cited Khan only as a motive for targeting Shroff, not as the primary objective.
The three suspects, identified as Hrithik, also known as Roshan (22), Rehan (18) and Phool Singh (18), were apprehended in Kota, Rajasthan, reportedly while en route to Nepal. Subsequently, the Delhi Police Special Cell detained four additional individuals, Kunal (21), Sumit (19), Radha (23) and Babita (23), on suspicion of supplying and transporting the firearms. These detainees have been handed over to Mumbai police. Authorities have not disclosed who the original intended victim was nor whether senior gang figures ordered the change of target. The investigation continues to trace the full chain of command behind the scheme.
