Liputan6.com, Jakarta – In the context of the holy month of Ramadan, the financing company part of the Akulaku Group, PT Akulaku Finance Indonesia collaborates with the National Amil Zakat Agency (Baznas) to carry out a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program.
The collaboration between PT Akulaku Finance Indonesia and Baznas provides health services and fast-breaking meals to the poor and those in need. These CSR activities are carried out at our school.
Our School is an informal learning group for children of scavengers and the poor located in the area where the scavenger community lives in Bekasi City, West Java.
Meanwhile, our school provides empowerment and learning support for children from local scavenger families by providing access to learning from volunteer teachers.
President Director of PT Akulaku Finance Indonesia Efrinal Sinaga hopes that the awareness activities launched with Baznas can provide real benefits for those in need.
“We at Akulaku are very proud to be part of a joint effort with Baznas RI to help those in need. Hopefully this activity can inspire more parties to share goodness in the Holy Month of Ramadan to help those in need,” said Efrinal in a written statement, Friday ( 3/29/2024).
Head of the Indonesian Baznas Agency Collection Division, Argo Sayoto, also appreciated the collaboration with Akulaku Finance Indonesia as a real step in sharing goodness for people in need.
In particular, said Argo, in ensuring access to adequate education and health for children from underprivileged groups.
“Akulaku’s support is clear evidence of our commitment to carrying out social responsibility to improve the quality of life of people in need. Hopefully this activity can continue to inspire more parties to be actively involved in sharing goodness,” said Argo.
