Recipe for BRI to Enter Brand Finance Global 500 2024

Suara.com – PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BRI has again demonstrated its existence by gaining achievements, namely being included in the Brand Finance Global 500 2024.

Special Staff III to the Minister of BUMN, Arya Sinulingga, said that Brand Finance Global 500 is proof that BRI has received global recognition, especially after entering the ultramicro business.

“This means that the path taken by BRI and Ultramikro holding is the right step so that they are on the Brand Finance Global radar,” he said, earlier this week.

For information, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BRI is the only company from Indonesia that has successfully entered the Brand Finance Global 500 2024 and is ranked 446th in the world.

BRI President Director Sunarso expressed his appreciation and pride for the achievements achieved by the company he leads. This achievement is an achievement in itself for the company because it is the first time it has been included in the list.

In his publication, Brand Finance Chairman & CEO David Haigh revealed that the 2024 Brand Finance 500 research results were more comprehensive than in previous years.

For information, Brand Finance Global 500 is an annual report prepared by Brand Finance with an assessment of two main factors, namely financial performance and brand strength of a company. This year, Brand Finance has conducted research on 5,000 brands in 30 countries.

In the list of “the world’s top 500 most valuable & strongest global brands”, Apple is firmly in first place, ahead of other technology giants such as Samsung, Amazon, Google and Microsoft.

As previously reported, the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) is proud of the inclusion of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BRI in the 2024 Brand Finance Global 500 as motivation for other banking BUMNs to achieve the same achievement.

Special Staff III to the Minister of BUMN, Arya Sinulingga, said that the Ministry of BUMN was proud of the achievements achieved by BRI, especially with the strategic step to become the holding company for Ultramicro BUMN.

“Hopefully other banks can join in. With all the specifications and specialization, this could be a big step for other banking BUMNs to catch up with BRI,” said Arya.
